Hey guys... I got a 08 r6 with an alarm when i bought it... THe thing is the alarm is installed in the back seat, leaving even less sapce for minor things, ie power commander.. I wanna relocate it smewhere else... does NE1 have NE ideas or experiences of another location? Cheers guys

There's nowhere else to put it. I tried under the riders seat, but they don't fit. You might be able to fab something up, but it's really your only option.

Really? hmm... that really sucks man. I was thinking of under the tank.. Ill check it later when i have time. Theres just not enough room for an alarm. PC3 and ignition module in the back seat.

putting it under the airduct covers could be an idea actually.. Its still pretty safe cause a thief would still have to undo 2 screws to get to it. that place where people normally put there ballasts.

I hide mine under the plastic between the rider's seat and the passenger's seat. There was juuuuust enough room in there for it.

My PC3 is tucked under the rider's seat, about half-under the plastic at the rear, the alarm went under that same area from the passenger seat. It'll all fit, but just barely.

Just be careful. These alarms are not meant to be exposed to the elements. I saw no warning against (but I didn't look). I would be hesitant, that's all...

yep the side of the plastics between the passenger seat and the riders seat in the little cubby hole where the windscreen fits under the air ducts underneaTH THE GAS tank i was even gonna take the airbox apart and see how it looked in there if i ran out of room but yeah plenty of options be creative any idiot can put it in the trunk area

oh yeah as far as the waterproof thing is concerned you can always use some clear RTV sparingly to seal it up just make sure you get the wire loom nice and sealed wjere it comes out of the box
