Went to start my 2000 model R6 the other morning. Turned on the key, but NONE of the electrical appliances on the bike worked (headlight, taillight, brakelight, blinkers, horn, engine temp. gauge, instrument panel lights - all non-functional).

The starter motor turns over just as strong as ever and the engine starts and runs fine, just no lights. Nothing unusual happened to the bike prior. didn't wash it or ride in the rain.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions where I should start my troubleshooting procedure?

Thanks for your suggestions!

Followed the advice of 4b316 and sure enough, it was a fuse (20a) in the fuse block

The bike sat parked for about two weeks before I had a chance dig into it
and locate and change the fuse. Unfortunately, it developed a problem while sitting parked. Went to start it prior to pulling the bodywork to locate the fuse and . . . . it wouldn't start!!

Am going to post a new thread about this problem.
