Alpinestars’ GP Tech V3 suit is at the apex of today’s suit technology. This is the third evolution of the GP Tech series from Alpinestars, having been refined thanks to Alpinestars close work with some of the very best motorcycle racers on Earth. You will not find a finer off-the-peg suit anywhere in the world. It’s ready-made for the most demanding riders, from road, to trackday to race day, and everywhere between.

Every suit is made using a combination of premium cowhide and kangaroo leather, that’s right roo and moo can live together, peacefully at the ready, to protect you should the whole plot fall apart. The usual aramidic stretch panels are situated in the most exposed areas where leather will not do when it comes to flexibility, at least. This particular material is known for its use in high-demand applications: from aerospace to bullet-proof vests, so you can be sure it’s more than suited for use in this, umm, suit. Flexibility in less abrasion-exposed areas is address with Hyper Resistant Stretch Fabric built to Alpinestars’ specifications.

There are now relief zippers on the calves that make it much easier to zip up the ankles. Then there’s the matter of the zipped-in liner. It makes getting into and out of this suit a lot easier than past iterations. You’ll appreciate that when it’s second call and you haven’t even warmed up the bike yet! And thanks to the revised roo/moo combination, even more perforations are found on this suit when compared to the V2 model. Tons of air comes through when you’re moving along. With the GP Tech V3, you get a suit that’s comfortable, flexible and highly protective.

The familiar, purpose-engineered flexible plastic armor sewn into the shoulders, elbows and knees have been revised to deliver more air inside the suit, and also impart additional protective strength. These pieces protect the most vulnerable, failure-prone areas of the suit where before, the worry of splitting at the seams was a real concern. That’s not to say Alpinestars added these protectors just so leather construction below could be cheapened up – au contraire!Underneath these protectors, Alpinestars is sews-in an extra layer of leather, and reinforces the stitching to keep the suit together when the ride falls apart.

For the rider that’s serious about maximum protection, these suits are compatible with the Tech-Air Race system. An integrated LED display on the forearm provides at-a-glance air bag operational status. And of course, of the internal latch points are perfectly situated for a secure Tech-Air fit while maximizing comfort. It’s all there, ready for use. If you’re not yet in possession of a Tech-Air system, the suit is perfectly fine to use without one.

We’ve already received positive feedback from our customers on this very suit. The numerous additional perforation panels are going to help tremendously here in the south, but the zipped in liner is the masterpiece of this suit and you shouldn't allow anyone buy the V2 as a result!

CE-certified from the top down, this suit is ideal for the most demanding of riders. To order this suit along with expert sizing advice, give TJ a call on 866.931.6644 ext 817. We often hear complaints about the the leather between the aero hump and the neck line bunching up. Alpinestars added an aramidic stretch panel to alleviate that issue.

The PU slider at the knee has a rubber pad to help the rider grip the tank better.
