Hey all wonders if I can get some advice? I have a 08 r6 and on the engine casing and few other spots, there appears to be aluminium corrosion. Now I've seen and read that you can use various acids and vinegar to get rid of it. But will any of this damage the paint work at all.

The white powder should just wash off with some soap... for the most part. Maybe a little motor oil might hide it better. Strictly cosmetic though. No harm is that, what-so-ever. If it's eating into the gasket surfaces or galling the radiator then there may be something else going on.
