Even though I don't contribute much, I think the forum is great. I've learned alot being a member here. I may come off as being a dickhead a lot of times, but it's nothing personal with anyone, I'm just pushing buttons.

yeah but you can't push people and be a dick if you can't get on the damn site. I try every day at work, at numerous times, and can't get on. I've begun to use other forums instead.

I too have started to use another R6 site more mainly because I can get on it.

I like this forum more, but if I can't get in I can't use it.

What is worse than the site being down is that the new admins haven't said one word about it or given us any information. For all we know they don't even know about the problem.

I'm figuring SpidermanSS bought the forum and just left it alone, thinking this place is just another piece of property to add to his empire. He's probably more concerned with the R1 forum, and probably hardly ever checks on this forum -- i.e. he just doesn't care about the r6 forum. That's probably why there's a shitload of problems going on, and nobody is doing anything to fix it or tell us what's going on.

I like this forum, but if things keep going like this, I'm outta here.

hey look its me loki, i know its been forever since i posted someting. but i havent had much time lately since ive been working almost nonstop so i can pay off all my bills and still save money to go boarding this winter. but i have been around some just not posting much. i too am wondering about why this site is getting so very fucking slow. as far as i know it is still mccoys motorsports website. but i have noticed also his name is not on the admin list with dj. im not sure what is really going on but i am with all of you in the fact that spidermanss is not coming through with any of his promises of making this place better. being a mod i really shouldnt say things like this but i am not the kind of person to sit back and watch my favorite website go to crap. not much i can actually do about it. but if this does keep on going i to feel that i will have to go to another website(and yes there is one in the works by a member here, dont ask who or where or what yet, its in the works) thougt this really sucks because i have been on here for awhile and have come to love this site cause i have met alot of great people through this site and like alot of you learned a whole hell of alot about my bike and a few other odd topics. so take it from me, im goig to ask a few questions of people that might have some insite into this prob and i will let you know what i find out. your mod loki :cheers

All-
I just got off the phone with DJ and he told me about everything that has been going on, from the sale of the site, to the servers, to the ISP's to now. I hear that within the next week or two, Shane (McCoy) is supposed to have the site moved over to his servers, and running the vBulletin software (same as the R1-forum)...then it will be solid again.

DJ told me that the only problem is that after he sold it, the site stayed on his servers. Then he changed jobs, been busy as hell, and hasn't had the time to keep things up. He has an ISP move servers on him without transfering everything, 2 hard drives fail, bad software...on and on.

He tells me that Shane is a good guy, he isn't forgetting about this site here, and in fact has been building graphics and sorking on getting it rolled over to their stuff. Shane I guess wasn't too up on the NUKE software, and then again, NUKE sucks...haha...so hopefully we will be on track again with vBulletin.

Now, I have to agree with some others too...kinda shitty that all of us long timers and whores over here are having to get upset and do the leg work for ourselves. It has definately made me wonder what exactly was going on in the uper levels. DJ says Shane is a good business man, and a good guy, I take his word on that, and now I know why the problems, but we shouldn't have to be kept in the dark.

Oh, and LOKI....its about DAMN time you show up again, you little bitch! Hey, dont forget the other forum we have too...its been up and active

what other forum are you guys talking about...... Im up for checking that out until this shit gets done..... man does that suck after you work all day and you just want to come here and check out whats going on and you cant even get on the site or if you can it takes 10mins with dsl. Im not going anywhere but if you guys have another forum that you made up let me know.
