So a week or two ago - I sold my beloved '07 R6.

I spent some time test riding numerous Ducatis (dang-it ) and scoured classifieds all over.

I looked at Hypers, Streetfighters, 848s, and the new 848 evo.

And alas...

I didn't go with any of them :D

Ohlins NIX fork w/ 30mm internals. Brembo CNC/HP calipers. Braketech SS rotors. And oh yeah... Marchesini Forged Magnesium wheels finish out the front

Up top, looking at the Ohlins damper. The lighting in my garage sucked so no pictures turned out of the Driven clip-ons, Brembo RCS18/20 master cylinder, or the Brembo mechanical clutch assembly... but you can bet your ass more pics will come :D

Leo Vince SBK system w/ ceramic coated header

Machined stock rotor, Brembo caliper via motogp style mount.

A view of that beautiful assembly inside the Marchesini wheel and 190 tire

A crappy shot of the Ohlins TTX

And the Sato rearsets

Tried to get a shot of the HM quickshifter as well - but no dice. More pics to follow though!

Thanks everyone! I can't effin wait for the next track season :fact

very nice...def. get me a review on the new helmet i might get that this spring
You can count on it. Already though I can tell you that this is probably my favorite helmet on the market (for the $) as far as appearance, weight, and features. It's sitting next to my AGV GP-Tech right now and the shell size is noticeably smaller - though it comes at the cost of a pretty tight hold to squeeze your head into. Once it's on though it feels great and really fits my head well.
I like the visor lock system - and the removable pinlock anti-fog system is pretty cool - it comes with an anti-fog system that you can just switch around to different visors... which saves money. One of my research points before purchase was cost of visors and replacement pieces and these are about the cheapest you'll find for a non-POS helmet.
The weight is extremely close to the aforementioned GP-Tech. I don't know about noise yet but hopefully tomorrow I can give some idea.

And the price :eek5
Including shipping and an extra visor - I got this from Riders Discount for considerably cheaper than ANYWHERE else I found it advertised. I mean - not even close.

This reminds me of a story...

this one day a cat was standing on the bank of a river. up came a catfish. the catfish said to the cat, what do they call you? the cat said "Frank"

and the catfish swam away....

its a tear jerker of a story when you realize that the fish was caught 10 minutes later and served at a fancy restaurant.

btw

Its not red :fact
