I just rode out to barona casino on sunday with my buddy. It wasn't busy at all heading out there (had to pass maybe 2 or 3 cars). Took Scripps Parkway east to Hwy 67. Take that south and make a left on Willow, then another left about a mile down at the 4 way stop. There is a 6-7 mile stretch to the casino that's nice and twisty. Maybe 30 minutes altogether from I-15 / Rte. 56 at a spirited pace. That's definetely not the bast road in SD, but it's pretty close and relatively uncrowded.im also kinda new to san diego... can anyone reccomend any good places to ride twisties? I had the day off yesterday and i cruised up the 15 north to the 76 east and rode all the way up Palomar mountain... it was friggen awesome!!! although there were kinda a lot of cars in the wayanyway, im in the pacific beach area and i love riding twisties, i just dunno any places that are close by... palomar mtn is like an hour drive, so any spots closer than that would be awesome... also, no one will prolly tell me, but is there any good spots to practice some stunts as well? thanks 4 ur time, peace!
Sounds great to me. Julian always comes to mind as well as palomar moutain. We should organize a ride. My next two weekends are booked unfortunately, but how does the first weekend of october sound? It should give us time to pick a route and research it ahead of time, maybe even do a couple in the same day if they're small enough.
