The side decals that are white on the blue 6? I'm looking at a 2004 blue R6 and a candy blue 600RR and really the only thing keeping me from the R6 is the decal. I know it sounds stupid but they're both exellent bikes and will be more than a handful for me.

So has anyone taken those decals off? I think the bike would look nice without them.

AHHH TAKE THE DECALS OFF, are you smoking crack?

some decals have a clear coat over them so i dont think its possible to take them off, the r6 is the best choice, why worry about somthing as little as decals?

I took off the R6 sticker on the tail and the one right above the healight off. It looks a ton better. :boob

you can take the decal off the side cowling but the gas tank has it clear coated in so its a no go there :cheers

Just cover them up with another decal if you want. But don't let a couple of decals keep you from gettin the sickest bike on the street. GET THE 6!!! :worship

Took off all the stock atickers, bought a forum sticker and cut the R6 out of that and used that as my only decal. Used it on the mids right above my turn signal.

I guess I didn't pay close enough attention. I saw that the one stickers had no clear I just figured the rest followed suit. Thanks for the info.

Take the decals Off! It takes 2 minutes, and I manged to get some action from the girl who loaned me the hairdryer to do it.

i took the decals off the fairing and had the decals removed from the tank then respayed it, i deffinatly think it looks better without those decals.
So buy an R6 and take off the decals

just wondering cuz i want to do the same on my blue 04.

This might be worth having the tank repainted. I really like the look without the decals and the R6 is more in my price range.
