I'm going to paint the bike, but I obviously gotta remove the flames...I haven't really looked at them close, but they should prob come off with a little heat and finger nail. Anyone that's done it let me know the easiest...Thanks
those colors are so rare you should piece together a set of fairings and sell the red and black flame ones(you'd probably get decent money for them). Where I live there is only one other than mine in that color.
They're too scratched up to get what new ones would cost me. I did look them over pretty good and the flames are clearcoated while the yamaha decal is not. So the flames will probably have to be sanded off? If anyone has done this or knows how, let me know....
Someone would pay you a little to trade for a comparable condition set. Those are rare, but they are yours. Sanding would be the best option. I believe the flames are acually painted and not decals.
