Hi

I'm installing an arrow full system that as the separate bushings and flanges that the headers slide into.

What I would like to know is how tight I should do the nuts that hold the flanges in place, but without bending the aluminium flanges .

Hopefully I've made sense. Please help.

I do mine by feel most of the time, but I got off my lazy ass to screen cap this.

20nm will bend the flanges. So I guess just doing it by feel will be fine then? The arrow ones are aluminium whereas the original yamaha are steel.

well, tightened them by feel, will give it a test ride when the weather improves and hopefully all will be good.

had a response from Arrow, and apparently 'some bending of the flanges is ok, and shouldn't cause any leaks'
