I was driving today and notice a sqeaking noise i checked my front brake pads and the inside pads on both sides are worn. I only have 8k on the bike it seems like they should last long than that but i dont know. So i was wondering how long pads are suppose to last? Let me know guys if its just me im going to try to get the dealer to cover them.

Dealer will not cover the pads. It all depends how you ride.

Well i replaced mine at 11,000 miles and let me tell you, there was a Shit TON of meat left on them. So unless those 8000 miles have all been done on the track odds are the pads are still good to go.

no the pads closest to the middle of the rim are shot the out side ones are perfect

i replaced mine at 9,000 miles for the front
and rear uhhh never i guess.

Try some brake cleaner. I have like half my pads left and the started squeaking but it was from al the brake dust.
