I have a 2007 r6 with 13k miles. I just got a new rectifier and new battery, about to get a new stator. The weird part is. With a new battery, my high beam is very dim. But my low beam has yet to turn on, the middle yamaha light has yet to have and issue as well as the gauge cluster. When i put the old battery with the new rectifer. The starter solenoid was buzzing, with the new battery and the rectifier, the bike turns on but the lights do now. I checked the fuses and the seem to be fine. I took it to advance auto zone for a battery test. And the code read that the new battery i had bought the night before that i installed should be replaced because the bike would eventually die in its current setting.

Battery voltage is typically ~around~ 12.6v with the bike/engine off and at least 1v North of that with the engine running. With all the add-ons, high beam and engine fans running at idle with many tens of thousands of miles on'er at high engine temperature, it might come closer to battery voltage at idle.
