OK so if its turning over, Yes it could be that the choke is open to much. You could of flooded the bike. Let it sit for a bit. Leave the choke off and then try to start it. If it doesn't fire up after a couple of 2nd's stop. No need in killing you battery. Anwser some questions for me.
How many miles do you have on it.
Have you performed any manitance on it lately.
What year is your bike?

You next step is going to be to pull you plugs, Then test for spark.
You may want to download the Service manaul for your bike. It may be helpful.
