Was next in line at my local Bank Of America making a deposit when I was cut off by someone. He went to the teller passed her a check. He looked nervous as hell! Took notice of him, mainly just noticed hit white hat, tucked in t-shirt and his green bungie cord belt holding up some jeans.
The teller gave him a stack of bills that he had to grab with both hands. The old man behind me made a joke asking if he could have some and the robber smiled back, casually walking outside and getting into the taxi.
The teller started screaming, and the branch manager ran to the door and locked it. The taxi pulled out slowly enough where I could read the branch manager the taxi's tag number. He wrote it down and called it in.
The guy was caught just down the street before the first officer even showed up at the bank. He had the cash and a handgun in the back of the taxi with him.
From what I had been told this was the second bank he robbed that day, another Bank Of America on the other side of town.
Just thought I would share a piece of my day...I'm ready for a low cruise now!
