Well I looked around on the bike and I can't even find where the filter is LOL. I did find the dip stick so that's a start.
I usually run shell rotella t (synthentic) 10w40 in most my bikes and quads etc. and will do the same here.
Where do I find a filter though? is it like a car filter? can I go to the auto parts store with a part number and get one? I'd like a purolator if possible but I guess any decent brand should be fine.

Oh yeah and how many quarts oil do I need?

thanks guys for any input

$5.88 from advance auto parts web site.

Now if I can just find the filter on the bike and how many quarts oil I need LOL

Your oil filter is behind your shift linkage. If you don't change the filter with the oil change it takes 2.54 quarts, with the filter it takes 2.75.

Ahh thanks man. How do I get to it? Do you have to take off the plastics around the front/sides of the bike? I imagine to get to the oil drain plug too.

Thanks
