Cam sprockets fitted 180 degrees off?

Can anyone tell me if its possible to fit the cam sprockets rotated 180 degrees?

I know how they're supposed to fit (with the #1 cyl lobes upwards at TDC) but I got a bike in that someone had "rebuilt" which has a strong spark and fuel coming out of the injectors but will not run. I was wondering if the timing was 180 degrees out?

Thoughts?

Run a compression / leakdown test.
Chain stretched / tensioner no good?

Or it might be fine, maybe the chain is slacked in the wrong direction as it hasn't been driven by the engine yet after you adjusted.
Okay, let us know if that does the trick.
Timing is now spot on. Compression is good. We have a spark. There is fuel pressure. But still won’t run.
is there a way to check if the injectors are firing and delivering fuel?
I’m waiting on a spare ecu to try but does anyone have any other suggestions?
Injectors must not be firing if you have everything else.

Can try spraying some brake cleaner / ether into the intake while you crank to see if it'll start the bike. But this does come with some risk.
Have you swapped out cam/crank sensors?
Not yet but thats not a bad idea....

I noticed in the area near the crank sensor (see pic above) theres some previously repaired crash damage. Maybe that hit was hard enough to damage the sensor too?
I'd try the sensors before a new harness.
