I'm finally in the market to buy a bike and I can't find what I'm looking for that is reasonable...everything is either across the country or asking too much, or previously wrecked.

I'm wanting a 03-05 blue R6 and I have $4000 to $4500 to spend on one...I'm going crazy knowing that I can finally afford one but now I can't find one :curse

Yeah...I'm so axious I have been debating buying an 04 R6 that went down and now has 05 forks and motor...I have been dreaming about getting my bike for years and its so close but seems so far away

i think it'll be hard to find one in that price range.

I agree. I just sold my '04 w/ 10.5k miles for $5k and that was a steal (sold it to a friend). You might come across a damaged R6 or a high mileage one going for $4.5k but it will be a hard bike to find.

Can you get a personal loan from a bank for $1k? $5.5k should definitely get you on to an R6.

i paid 5600 for an 03 with alot of extras and hell yea it was worth it (i like the the old front ends more) and the extras were well worth the price my opinion will always be pay for what u get if its less than 5gs dont even look i mean if u want a bike that runs....

If you wait, a good deal will come to you. I waited 3 weeks, looking / surfing the internet and picked up a hell of a deal!

2005 Yamaha R6 (Raven Edition) on craigslist in houston for $5,300. It only had 7,500 miles on it....guy gave me gloves / helmet / front / rear stands with the bike as well.

Be patient and a good deal will fly your way.

my friend just sold his 05 R6 raven w/ 3000 miles for 3500 bucks.
it was for sale for 6 months.......

it had minor damage on the left side from a low side, but it was all cosmetic.

holy crap, wow...damn I should have waited longer and picked this bad boy up. I would have had $2k to spend to fix the issues and whatever left over for mods. :nocontrol :fact

Oh well, thats a hell of a deal too though. :YEA

Almost exactly like the deal i had on my bike...2005 raven with very slight cosmetics on right side and 800miles..he sold it for $4000..the guy only had it for about 2 months....once in a life time deal

so yea..just wait and be patient n it will come to you
