No need to waste $75 or more on a new chain (not to mention another $75 on sprockets). If you are just cruising around town, and hitting the canyons... save your money for when they actually NEED replacing. And that shouldn't be for 15k miles with the 532 chain on a 600cc bike, as long as you maintain it.
If you want a great performance mod that is cheap... change the stock front sprocket for a 15-tooth. $25 and about 30 minutes of your time will give you a bit better accelleration. :mrgreen:
