Hey guys,

So all my parts i need come in tomorrow to put my bike back together. One question i had about replacing the brake reservoir (front). I plan to replace only the reservoir itself and the stay (mount) while leaving the hose intact.

Can i just replace the old reservoir and pour the brake fluid into the new reservoir? Or do i need to do something more extensive?

Keep in mind I'm far from being a mechanic and all of the work done now is by me and I'm learning as I go :YEA. I don't think it's not too hard taking off all the plastics/stay and putting it back together but some detail stuff I need clarification on :)

your more then likely gonna need to bleed it anyway if you empty the reservoir. Yeah you can just pour some new fluid in there up to the line. If you have a speedbleeder it should be pretty simple to do.
