Hey,
Well its about time to change my chain, it has been stretch pretty good. Now my question when do i know when to change the front and rear sprokets? is there a certain mileage i should go by to decided when to change it or should i be looking for some type of wear?

Thanks

service manual shows how to determine wear on the teeth on the sprockets. If you put a new chain on worn sprockets it will wear quickly. If you dont want to buy yamaha parts, then youll have to do a 520 or 530 conversion. Search the forum for conversions
