clear alternatives or custom led?

Clear Alternatives seems to be the more popular of the two on here. I don't care for the strobe stuff from Custom LED (I want people behind me to see the brake but not freak them out when it strobes).

If I'm not mistaken the CA '08 model is not going to be ready for a little while longer? That might make your mind up for you right there.

I myself am ordering the smoke CA tail this week.

I have Custom LED and they don't strobe. So I guess to judge Custom LED based upon one type is a bit ignorant. They look great and are bright.

if your willing to wait for the '08 model to come out.......its WELL worth it. i absolutly love mine. it gets more compliments then anything else on my bike. not to mention its a lot more visible then the CA .ive ridin behind both at the same time. what a difference..... it also has a hazard light function that has saved my a5s plenty of times while sittin on the side of the road waiting for someone i had the CA an imo.....it SUCKS!! stay away

I wasn't trying to be ignorant, I've looked on thier site doing homework on one for myself. The ones I saw for our bikes says it strobes the brakes.

If not all models do this then fine. I was just offereing my opinion without being judgmental/bias to either company, also stating that Custom LED having one for an '08 would be to his benefit if he is wanting one now...

i'm partial to clear alternatives; had a custom led but didn't care for the clear look; wanted the smoked lens; couldn't be happier with my CA:sing

The only CA product I've ever had experience with is the integrated tail on my friends R1. For some reason, the running light decided to stop working (but the break light and turn signals still worked). We took it apart, and all the solders are still strong, and nothing has come undone. We still can't figure out what's wrong with it; it's only about 2 months old. But I've heard people online saying they love the products, so it could just be a bad unit.

3 Bills for a Tail Light!! For that price that thing better have tits on it that I can squeeze!

The custom LED unit is very bright, very well made, plug and play, and does not strobe on the 08 unit. I have it and I love it.
