It is kind of a toss up. It really can be more comfortable for mid range rides... but you are locked into one riding position so it is actually MORE tiring on long rides.
What you gain in lowered seat height, you lose with the shape of the seat. It is highest along the edges, so it pushes your legs out wider... essentially making it HARDER to get your feet down.
It really falls down to personal preference. I loved the Corbin I had on my GS500. Was lukewarm about the one on my GPz1100. And haven't put one on anything else... and probably won't unless I get a touring bike where my comfort doesn't rely so much on being able to shift my weight around.
