You can jack up the bike from under the headers. Use a 2x4 on top of a jack and under all pipes. If you have aftermarket headerpipe, just have someone watch as you jack it up slowly to make sure it doesn't dent or move etc.. Make sure headers are completely cooled off too, less likely to dent etc..
then loosen your pinch bolts and go to town :mrgreen:
Loosen up only one side of the triple clamp at a time, and push down a little, measure, and do the same to the other side after you tighten the firtst one. That way your forks won't slide all the way up, and your bike isn't sitting on your front fender.
