Just had my new PC3USB fitted and a new map setup by Dynojet UK.The result was MAX POWER: 108.4, MAX TORQUE: 45.72.
I was hoping to hit the 110hp mark with all the mods i've had done, but hopefully when the Velocity Stacks are fitted and remapped, i'll be closer.
Anyone else had a dynorun lately?

My stock dyno run was 107.8 with an M4 slip on.
I will be running it again soon after I get my engine back from the shop. I'll post it up when I do.

Just got mine done today as well. More than upsetting results.

When i first dynoed my bike, i got it to 101hp and 45ft/lbs. thats with full system.

Now with system, vstacks, bmc filter, slide stops, ign advance today i got 100hp and 41ft/lbs.

Those are two different dyno's although, i just got it done today to get a exhaust gas reading and printout.

When i did my first dyno tuning, i did 4th gear roll-ons, if i counted right today, i think he did 5th gear roll-ons

Now, my bike pulls WAY harder than before, and the power curve looks really good except two lean spots at 4000rpm and 8000rpm.

Now i just gotta get back up to the first dyno and see how it does.

I know i definitly have alot of room to work out of yet also. I'll post up the printouts.

Hey Guys,

My bike made 99.3 hp stock, I put a full Yosh, Power Commander 3, Factory Pro V-stacks in and that put me up to 103.8 . I bought a BMC "R" air filter, a Factory Pro ignition advance rotor and a set of Graves throttle stops. I'm going to install those parts on Tuesday, then run my bike on the dyno again on Thursday.

Keep in mind that different dyno's can (and will) get very different results.
The key to effective tuning is to use the same dyno after mods have been
made.

Hey Texas, what are you having done to your motor ?? I can't think of
any more "bolt-on" performance parts to put on/in my bike and I'll be
getting some sort of motor work done before next year's race season.
I just haven't decided what I'm going to get done, aside from a Graves
race kit head gasket, degree the cams and possibly some porting/polishing.

:cheers

I polished the exhaust ports, sanded off the casting marks on the intake side, then polished the combustion chambers
We also took 2 layers of the head gasket off to increase compression.
With the older models that aren't one piece, you can eliminate the base gasket and seal it with copper sealant, as well as thinning out the head gasket.

Make sure you check valve clearance first to see how much room you have to play with.
We only took off 20 thousandths.

It's not running yet so I can't tell you the results. Some sensor went out and I have to order a new one.

I'm planning on degreeing the cams, and putting a Graves race kit head
gasket in. Yeah, I know the stockers can be de-laminated but I'd prefer
to spend a little more $$ and go with the Graves. I'm limited to 115 rwhp
in our club, so I've got to watch what I do.

A buddy of mine that I race with owns a performance shop just outside
of Minneapolis (he'll be the one doing the work), he's running an '03
ZX6RR. That thing is putting out 122 rwhp !! But he's had the motor
apart more times than I can count...

Let me know what you get out of your bike when you get it running. What
sensor crapped out on you ??

:cheers
