when i bought my bike it had the soupys lowering kit on it and the front triple tree was lowered, forks almost two inches through the top clamp. what is my easiest way on putting the forks back to stock height? i already took the soupys lowering links off and put the stock ones back on, already rides alot better
get yourself some allen wrenches and make sure they are good quality or you will round out the bolts. If you have a triple clamp stand it would make life easier and if not then you would need something to lift the bike. That's basically it!
The ladder is your friend . If you have an engine hoist go for it. Anything to get the weight off of the front. Get two of your friends to hold the bike up.
If you have a rear stand, put it on that. Use a floor jack with a 1X3 board under the headers. Raise the jack enough to get the weight off the front wheel and loosen the bolts on the triple clamps and the clip-ons. You can use the floor jack to help set the height.
If you don't have a rear stand, you can do it on the kickstand, but it will be sketchy.
