okok... hoping I didnt buy a bad bike... i trusted the seller and like him, so i think thats not the case. lol

But... heres the new issue..

upon heavy breaking from decent speeds... the engine shuts off... and at a normal idle.. it seems real low of an idle..

any idea whats going on?

i have pc3, exhaust, bmc street filter, and running mobile 1 oil.. fresh! lmao

did you ever get your other problem fixed with the headlights killing the battery?
ya. i was told the high beams were drawing to much power. cause all 4 bulbs came on when highs were turned on..

so im getting hid, and just not using the highs until i wire a cut off for the lows when i switch the highs on. lol

i dont need 4 bubs on at a time.

All 4 bulbs should be on when you use your high beams.. I run my high beams (which uses all 4 bulbs) all day long everytime I ride. I don't get battery draining issues.

Your idle may be too low and when dropping from a high rpm too fast it may stall. Or you might not be pulling in the clutch fast enough or all the way.

im thinking its the plugs. im at 16k miles and i don't think the previous owner changed the plugs
Damn son. Even if it's not the plugs change them out. 16k is a lot for originals!

Would hate to hear that the ceramic shield broke apart and ****ed your shit up!

called the previous owner, they were changed. And i got my problem fixed. It was my valve pressure, the screw was coming loose overtime. raised my idl back up to 1.3k and now it starts and runs perfectly fine.

Do you have the clutch pulled in or not? If you have the clutch pulled in, your rpm's are down...... (related to low idle) This model has a common low idle and even stalling out.. so if you have the clutch in, your RPM's are at idle levels.....

Since you have a PCIII this is an easy fix.... (both issues will resolve with same fix)
I had the same issue with stalling (but I dont have the clutch pulled in on hard breaking so not the same for me there) but I pull the clutch in when coming to a normal stop and then it would stall on me.....

The RPM's under 3K need to be leaned out a hair.. Any good tuner shop should be able to do this for you... If you know enough of how to use your PC software you can hook up to a PC and do it yourself... but you need only to lean it out a bit... Simply take all settings for the RPM's under 3K and lean them out 1 digit at a time until the issue is solved.....

This solved my low idle prob and my stalling out problem when coming to a normal stop (with clutch pulled in, I never had the problem while hard breaking and clutch level not pulled in).......
