forst off: i know i should have officially checked the wires, i made that mistake, please leave your comments to yourself about that. i just need some help fixing this problem.

so i was in the process of installing a scorpio security system on my '08 R6, went to splice the wires for the turn signals and taillight, and clearly i spliced the wrong ones (the splices have since been removed) i didnt cut all the way through the wires, just cut into them. i went to turn the bike back on and got the Er-1 and Er-2 messages (No signals are received from the ECU within the specified duration) it was only two wires going into the ECU. what is the easiest way to fix this problem? can i just cut the wires and splice them back together? or do i have to re wire those specific wires?

Have you checked all your fuses?

Did you splice into wires going into the ECU? It is possible you fried something.

You could try putting the wires back together and see if that works. But you might have fried your ECU.
