so stupid question but I got all the sliders I need (cut version) to save my fairing in case I drop but is there one for the exhaust since it's on the side for a 2004 r6?

R&G Racing does/did have them for the older Kawasaki Z700 and Z1000s. You may be able to get one and modify it to fit, or fabricate one based on their pictures.

Those actually look pretty cool, what do you just have to drill two holes and rivet them on? the shipping doesn't look that bad like $10 to the US?

not sure I asked him and waiting for a reply. He has different versions of them. Oval, tri shape etc etc.

R&G got back to me and this is what he said

Hi

This will be fine on a Micron exhaust. If its a round one then go for the round and if its oval then go for the oval - they are made to fit the shape as appropriate and they tighten around the can with a large jubilee type clip. No modifications required!

hmmm the only thing is if you dropped it at any decent speed or maybe even just dropping it it might dent the can more since that piece is sticking out more.
