is there any advantage to getting a longer swingarm? I see this to be a comon upgrade but dont know why. I was thinking about putting a single sided swing arm myself. but is there any downfalls to that?
Longer wheelbase allows for a lower center of gravity, and weight distribution...commonly found in the drag racing scene.
Single sided arms, i can't see any benefit wither way, other than it is easier to change a tire And it looks sexy as hell. BUT the cost to do the conversion is $$$$$
Basically they extend the swingarm so both wheels are likely to stay on the ground, but if you get it done your bike will not corner nowhere near as good as it does now.
