Hi everyone,
Just got my R6 last week and I just love it! Went for a quick ride but couldn’t help but feel intimidated from the seating position. Coming from a cruiser, the R6 definitely puts abit more pressure on the back and wrists. Was thinking of getting some tank grips to help with the pain. Anything you guys recommend?

Core work. Lots of Core and lower back strength building because you cannot ride it the way it is designed resting on your hands / arms on the bike. If you are especially tall a tank shroud and perhaps some clip ons and rearsets. For now just suffer through it and get an idea on what is a new Riding position you will get used to. What is ergonomic. Congrats they are awesome machines. I am on my 6th build.

Yeah, try to keep that core strong. When I got mine went through the same issues. I focused my weight on my legs. Even tried to steer with my legs. Try to get the weight off the clip ons and it will naturally build up your legs and lower back muscles. You'll get used to but just need time. Your muscles will develop memory in no time. Congratulations and the bike and ride safely.
