Found a sportbike association that organizes track day events in just about in every region but the southwest and the west. Prices seem reasonable but since I've never done one, I really have nothing to judge it against. So check it out if you're interested. If anyone knows of anyone else that organizes track days in the northeast could ya let me know!

ya, that is much cheaper but they are the only ones I have found that organize anything around here. Do they have a chapter out in the northeast that organizes any track days (who ever organizes your track days)?

i dont think so. i think they are just a colorado thing. you should call around to the tracks in your area and ask if they have any just motorcycle sessions. the ones out here have a session from 5 - 9 on thursdays that you can just pay 45 and go out there and ride as long as you have all of the right gear.

there are like 4 tracks in CT. Lime Rock being the only road course and they don't allow bikes. The other 3 are oval/circle tracks and don't allow bikes. The only tracks that are near here with track days are in PA (Pocono) and New Hampshire I believe, atleast thru NESBA anyways. It's the dogs balls but what r u gonna do?

yea the reason it is so expensive is those are big name tracks. there are a bunch out here that are little ones that there are never any major races at and the facilities arent that nice. what the hell though you are only there for the track riding, you dont need box seats or anything!!!

In Texas it is about $125. and $150 if you do the whole school.

Check out www.lonestartrackdays.com. They go between Texas World Speedway and Texas Motor Sport Ranch.

www.sportbikehype.com has one out at the Texas Motor Speedway (where Nascar runs) for much cheaper. But not sure how good the track is, not the orginization of the events.

With NESBA you get a free class and then get to decide what you want to do...... Um, I don't see any need for the decision! Just get out on the track! I myself haven't ridden a sportbike until I got mine in probably 5-6 years, so I'd take a class just to re-acclimate myself. Other than that, it's just track time. I just wish there were some closer than the 3-4 hours to Pocono's or New Hampshire. Oh well........
