Got some used Armor Bodies track plastics from a forum member (Thanks Mike!) and spent some time this weekend cleaning them up and painting.

Used a little Bondo to fix a damaged area on the tail section and also a fiberglass repair kit and more Bondo on a damaged section near the windscreen of the upper. For paint, I did a simple scheme with cardinal red, classic white, and classic black.

Not bad for my first shot at body repairs and paint!

Thanks, guys.

Yea, I didnt plan on having the photos so small, but naturally they will hide any imperfections, and its by no means perfect! Let me try to attach a larger image here.

No pics of the bondo before paint, but I was shocked how easy it is to use that stuff and sand to perfection. I was surprised, though, how fast the hardener begins to cure. Once you mix it in, you really only have a few minutes to apply it.

*Edit* Yea, the larger file size didnt result in a larger picture....fudge.
