Picked up my first bike 01 R6 can't wait to ride promised my wife i would not ride until i take the saftey class in july what do you guys think im not to worried about mods right now just my saftey what's the best brand to purchase open to all suggestions. here's a few pic's

Get some good gear, go to a parking lot and learn how to grab a handful of front brake. Take that MSF class asap. And remember, that first 500 miles is killer ... you'll start feeling comfortable, but don't get cocky. Falling down sucks.

Leather jacket, good riding shoes/boots of some sort and a respectable helmet are a must. Definitely take some kerosene and a nylon brush to that chain or get a new one if its bad.
