Found it, under the ECU!!!!!!!
uhhh...This is probably a bit of a stupid question..but where is the ECU? Im trying to get the same custom LED relay for protons and the custom LED tail, but I want to know what the installation entails before I order it. Can you give me a quick several sentence run-down of how to reach it?

Thanks man!:toocool:

Ecu is under the riders seat and the relay is under the tank on a 07, the ecu is a flat looking box that has 2 looms/connections of wire coming out of it. and the relay is the one closest to the left side of the bike

I guess Yamaha did a production change sometime in 2007. My bike was built in August 2006 and it is located under the tank.

I know it's an old thread, but instead of starting a new one I figured I'd post in here.
Can anyone tell me where it is under the tank (clutch side, brake side) on an '07? Picture would be great, but I'll be happy with a location.
Thanks guys
you'll have to remove the seat, then I believe there is a chunk of plastic/metal in front area of the seat. You may have to remove that, in order to get to the flasher relay. The weird thing is, you may not see it at first. It is hidden behind the plastic/steel wall right in front of the seat. You may have to reach in from the front of the bike to reach it. I did this a while back, can't remember the specifics.

Thanks for the help, I'll try to take a look tonight and hopefully I'll find it
My buddy spent a good 15 minutes looking for it yesterday and nothing. Why the hell is it hidden so well? On my '09 it was under the ecu, EASY!
