I've heard the theory put forth that says the more bends you have in your exhaust path, the less power you make. Any one else heard this? I've had a salesman at Hard Racing tell me that Micron "doesn't sell" the Serpent system in a high mount because of the extra bend in the mid pipe and how it robs HP and that Micron is all about HP (I'll post his answer if I can find it). So that would lead me to believe that these Froggies would make less power than a standard mounted slip on. And if that's the case, then why does Ducati, and now Honda make underseats with all those kinky bends?

Hmmmmmm...............

Unfortunately, no.
Micron ONLY offers the Serpents in a Std. Mtn.

Since a High Mtn. Tends to lose 3 - 4 hp because of the Extremen bend in the Mid. Pipe.... and Micron is ALL about the Max. HP output..... they opt. Not do a High Mtn.

The Sale ends on Friday.

Just let us know.

yea ive heard that the more bends in the pipes the less power output there is but they said it was hardly anything, like 1 hp or less. some high mounts like two brothers have less sharp bends than others.
