I have a 2007 r6 and just wanted to know if there is any way to put the new forks 2017- 2019 on my bike. Either just the forks or swap the whole triple tree too.

You should be able to swap the whole front end. The forks are wider, so they won't fit the stock tree, but the frame is the same.

If anyone has tried this I would be interested to know if there was any issues, or if the 2017+ front end is indeed a straight swap onto the earlier model. Tempted by the slightly better range of aftermarket parts for the more recent Yamaha R1.

Looking to put a 2015+ R1/R1M front wheel + brakes onto a 2010 R6.

Anyone know if the upper and lower triple clamps from the 2015+ R1/R1M, 2017+ MT10 would work? Might expand the search range of available parts.
