Gilles Factor X rearsets embody everything that a performance rider would want in his rearsets: light weight, efficient/reliable movement and a highly refined finish. Machined from billet aluminum, Factor X rearsets offer adjustability in both the toe peg and footrest positions along with the ability to change lever throw ratios for perfect bike control. Double ball bearings ensure smooth shift and brake action by reducing control resistance and improving feel. The overall simple design reduces the number of parts required for the complete system which increases reliability and reduces weight at the same time.

Gilles Factor-X rearsets are available for all Yamaha YZF-R6v models.

Gilles rearsets are not yet available on our website; call TJ at 866.931.6644 ext 817 to get yours shipped out fast. You can also email your questions to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM with R6 GILLES FACTOR X in the subject line and please be sure to include the model and year of your motorcycle for accurate availability.

High quality hardware and clear instructions with torque specifications are included with each Gilles Tooling rearset kit.

We cannot say enough about the finish machining from Gilles – there are no sharp edges, inconsistent radiuses or tooling marks anywhere.

Knurled footpegs mean a positive grip in any weather.

The back side of the left rearset. Notice the part number machined into the lower right portion of the bracket. You can find these numbers on just about every part for easy sourcing of spares after a crash.

The rearset brackets themselves are tank-like in design.

Gilles has much experience in racing and it shows in details like the toe pegs seen here. The smooth one is for the shifter since (obviously) you regularly use both sides to change gears – the brake side is knurled allowing for better grip and a positive feel when delicately modulating the rear to tighten up your line mid-corner.
