Speaking of experiences with cell phones, SanDisk micro-SD cards on ExFAT seemed to be much more reliable than the Samsung branded. In general, you want to stay away from FAT32. If you're getting inexplicable corruption, consider whether it's the storage media and/or antiquated FAT32 file system. You'll also want to use the fastest SD card type that you can find. The slower/cheaper cards may not support the necessary, sustained write speeds. Also beware of counterfeit SD cards.

I highly recommend running the camera with constant power from the bike.


If the battery drops below 20% charge it will corrupt your file. Flaw in the software. Look it up.

With constant power you never need to switch batteries and you get much better results.

I also have found turning the camera on, and then pressing record yields less incidences of file corruption as opposed to just hitting the instant on record.
