i just got a awesome stand off ebay. it is a power stand and it looks like the pit bull. i got it for 100 shipped(about 50 less than a pit bull. it works with spooled or non. just wanted to let you guys know because i think it is a pretty good deal for a burl stand.

Can you lift the back tire without lifting or chocking the front one without it tipping over??

Can you lift the back end up and put the swingarm on two jack stands without it tipping over??

Yes you can list the swing arm with two scissor type jack stands. it is not very stable though and I don't recomend it. But if you are in a pinch, it will work.

Or you can use an engine cherry picker with a a chain around the sub frame to pull the bike into the air. Or I have seen two saw horses and a 2x4, then lift the bike so teh subframe is over the 2x4. I don't think the subframe is designed for that kind of wieght, but it did hold.

My opinion is you spent $8k -10k on a bike, whats another $200 on stands?

I will refer to a statement made in a previous thread by myself.

If I can find a way to not spend 200 on stands, I have just found a way I can spend 200 on some parts to make the bike go faster!
