going to be polishing her up real nice but going to leave a crazy design though still with the black powder coat, Do ya'll guys think i can tape off the area's I wanna keep black and coat the rest in aircraft stripper, or do you think the aircraft stripper might soak under the tape?

if worse comes to worse I'll just sand it down... even though thats what im trying to avoid.


btw in a couple weeks if anyone needs an 04 oem swing arm let me know I'll sell it cheap!!

this just be my ignorance shining through...but if AIRCRAFT STRIPPER can take off powdercoating, don't you think it will take off tape? LOL

I would say to strip the entire thing, then repaint on the design you want...

definately your ignorance showing through Yoda :stupic ....

I think you should just sand it all down and then repaint your design. Would be easier than trying not to get any of that stripper stuff on the tape. IMO
