Has anyone installed a gps unit on their bike? If so, did you wire a 12 volt power supply for the gps? I've seen the RAM motorcycle gps mounts that look nice. I need a 12 volt supply before I will mount a gps though.

I've got a Garmin Zumo 550 setup and go right off the battery to keep it charged all day. If I just use the internal battery I'm only good for about 4 hours.

I have the enV cellphone by verizon, a five cent piece of velcro and bam, gps using VZ navigator! 2.99 for 24 hrs or 9.99 for a month. it also makes a great mp3 player. and it has the best anti theft feature ever, you just rip it off and put it in your pocket.
