note really anyway. i tried to figure a way with my gytr, i know it is different, but it was stable enough w/o it. i did use a heavy duty clamp (from autozone) though. the one made for car exhaust. i wont trust the small ones that come with the slip-on though. the autozone actually have edges that imbed into the pipe and keep it from ever coming out. when i took the exhaust off even with the clamp off, i had to hit it with a rubber mallet.
