Hello everyone, new member here. I just purchased a 2009 R6. This bike only has 400 miles on it. I’m curious if these fairings are OEM. All I can find online is a German company (Becker Carbon) who produces fairing similar to this. It’s never been wrecked so I don’t know why someone would replace new fairings if they didn’t have to. Anyways, if anyone has any information I’d love to know the history of this one. Thanks!

I don’t think Yamaha put out a tribute edition like that. But it looks like a replica of the 2008 World SuperSport livery. A photo of the number that is on the front would’ve been helpful, but if it is 23 it’s Broc Parkes, if it is 35 it’s Cal Crutchlow

Those fairings could actually be oem with the oem decals removed and new decals installed. There are decal companies out there that can make any decal you want. www.drippinwet.com being the one I used for my track bike.

Can also be true, but the colour shceme is still off..

The 09 r6 blue, has blue fairing behind the fairing with the "r6" logo, this1´s black

Also,it should have blue headlight fairings, and this bike has white..

But yeah, it can be OEM, it´s just weird. mayby fairings from diferent bikes.

Best way is to look on the back of the fairings, for the yamaha parts numbers (13sxxxxx).

I'm don't have a lot of knowledge on the R6 but I do know that the 06 to 16 are the same bike. So someone could buy fairings from any year... meaning they could be different colors. So they still could be OEM. Another thing... the owner could have just painted the OEM fairings.
