Guys. This is my first post as I'm a newbie to this site.

I just Picked up an 06 R6 50th anniversary edition. I have a Question for you guys. I have noticed that after I ride it, there is a extreme smell of Gasoline from the bike. I have checked all around the bike, but I don't see any gas leaks or puddles on the floor.

Any one out here have this issue?

OK I think I found the hose that is venting the gas.
It's right next to the kickstand. It right next to the kickstand.

They Yamaha dealer said it's normal for gas to vent here. But my friend who has the same bike said his doesn't smell like that at all.

Does the bike have the Smog block off plates installed?

It's completely stock.
