Whats up guys. Very glad i found this informative and useful site. I dont have an r6 yet cause i dont have a garage or any place to keep it safe. I live in L.A. and i dont feel that the neighborhood is safe to be putting an r6 outside a non gated apartment complex. I am planning on getting one when i move to another place (more secure) but unitl then, i commute in a cage. Im planning on spending about $5-5.7K for a used r6 and i was wondering if i could get a 03 or 04 (if im very lucky) 6 on that price range?

I wouldn't live anywhere in So Cal without a private garage. I know it's more expensive... but I know too many people who have missing bikes. As far as an '03 for $5K - not gonna happen unless it's beat down.
