Thats a great price! You cant go wrong at $188! I have an RF-1000 as well I wear small and the AGV I bought is a small as well. Everyone says AGVs run small but I did not experience that. Both helmets fit me very well, however the RF is much more quiet in comparison with the AGV. My AGV is the XR-2 and has the Arai style vents on top so this makes it a little bit more noisy. But to sum it up I love my AGV and prefer it hands down to the shoei.

Not sure if you are all aware of this website www.motostrano.com but they email me killer deals all the time. I am not in the market for a new helmet but saw this and wanted to know if anyone had any feedback A. on AGV and B. this model of lid. The price is killer, and the pattern is pretty cool to boot. I am really wanting to order it, its between that lid and some woodcraft rearsets, although, the lid is much cheaper. Another thing, i currently rock a SHOEI RF-1000 size MED, how does it comapare to those? Size, weight, noise etc? Any and all feedback is appreciated.
So.... what do you think??

I've got a Shoei Rf-1000 and it fits like a glove. I tried on a Suomy and it fits a size larger and an Arai didn't fit me at all. It's all in the shape of the shell. I haven't owned an Agv but I would still try one on before buying. There is nothing worse than a wrong fitting helmet. Oh and Arai's and Suomy's are very light, but if it dont fit it ain't worth it.Hey Fellas
