Helmet Question

Not positive but it is probably the lining on the inside. The snow mobile one would probably have a type to keep your head warmer.

If I would wear my snowmobile helmet riding my bike would it be too hot.

why not just wear an actual motorcycle helmet?

I'm no expert...but I would think the crash rating, or the "crush" rating for a helmet primarily on the snow would be less than that of one made for paved road.

I was going to do some research on this, and ran out of time today. Maybe tomorrow.

I just did a "real fast" look, and both meet and excede DOT and SNELL regulations, and some are the same part numbers even...but it looks like venting, and lenses are different. That was just in the 2 models I compared.

I am sure there are other differences out there. I wouldn't buy riding gear for a snowmobile for my streetbike tho... oke

I'm thinking I might be ok with it but it will probably get hotter than a mofo. So I'll just wuit being a tight ass and buy a helmet.

Where is there a good but cheaper place to get helmets and leathers?

And OCboy, I was getting excited when I saw Orange City until I saw Florida. I thought there was another R6 rider in my town!! I live in Orange City, Iowa.
