So I just moved up here from NY. I have the R6s and just bought greggs flush mounts. Yet the sportbike place in rochester,NH says that it will fail inspection because of them so I was wondering if there was any place I could go to that isn't to far from Dover area that would pass inspection with those on. Also things on the bike that would fail is not having the rear turn signals because I have integrated turn signals in the back......and not having a plate light on my swingarm. I was surprised since in NY it would pass. Please help a girl out. :)

Sadly enough no. Even the place in Manchester that would pass fender eliminators or undertails they would still not pass flush mounts. Maybe someone else might know? But why not just buy a pair from ebay put on those turn signals for the inspection and then after it passes swap them out?I know that sucks to do but atleast you can keep the flushmounts on.

Hey Mittens, NH has cracked down hard on state inspections for bikes this year, basically if its not stock you will fail... Integrated tail light, flushies, loud pipe, no mirrors, all = fail.. sucks i know, I'm friends with a few people that work at Rochester Motorsports, and they can't even inspect their own bikes... With that said, your best bet would be going to shady gas station, ask if they will do a bike inspection and hope that they are too stupid to keep up with the current laws.. lol! Luckily I live just over the boarder in Maine, and In Maine they could give a fu*k, as long as everything works you are good to go... With that said, NH Cops know whats up and I'm sure they would stop and question your inspection, after all your bike looks like a attention magnet and with everything striped off it you are asking for trouble..

So, what do you need to get that thing legal? I don't know the rules as far as it being stretched and lowered, but I do know that you will need Front and rear signals(and they cant be tiny ones), plate late, and your pipe can not exceed something like 98dbs.
let me know if you need any help....

OH! and FYI! all you need to do is have that stuff on for the inspection, once you pass you can strip everything off it and put back to the way you want it... Cops can't say a word then.... ;)

Yea I bought another undertail as i was unsure if I needed it when i take off the hotboides one. I also got the back fender plate thing with the lights. All i really need now are the front signals and to put it all together. I don't know what I am going to do about the plate with the light yet.......but yea was planning on putting some or maybe all the items back on after inspection........I wonder if the cops are up to date with the NY law though since technically I still ahve my NY plates on and the regisrtation sticker states 09.......

If you are still rocking NY plates and inspection/registration then I would just roll with it until they exp....
as for the plate late.. that's a cheap/easy fix... you can buy plate bolts that have a led in them that will work... Ebay Plate light..

Problem solved...I went to a local garage less than a mile from my house. The guys in there were beyond nice. He asked to see low beams, high beams, directionals, and horn. He almost stumbled when he couldn't see my flush mounts right away, but after he saw, there was no issue. Got my sticker and was on my way. The place is Kruczek's Garage in Newmarket. He's right over the town line if you're coming over from Durham. Hope that helps!
