so i tried to install the shogun bar sliders and i must have tightened them too tight or something and the actual bar slider piece broke off while the threaded piece is now stuck in my throttle.

i have tried to muscle it out with no luck - kept threading the stick piece....:bash

is there any way to get this thing out? ive tried wd-40 but that doesnt seem to work either.....

any help would be greatly appreciated

If you're saying that you put the adaptor in the bar end, and now that is stuck in the bar end you're kinda out of luck. Something was wrong with one of my bar ends threads and it got cross threaded. Because of the way the handle bar screws you can't use an easy out.

If you mean that you broke the screw that holds the plastic slider to the metal adaptor, I would use an easy out to try to get it out.

Hope that helps.

prob your best bet is to take it to a shop. I work at a ford dealership and fight problems like this all the time. Two easiest ways are to try and drill the hole out and then hammer in a extractor or being very carful use a very sharp air hammer and cut a notch in the broken piece and use the notch and hammer to push the broken piece around. I hate it so much good luck

Yep, same crap happened to me. Maybe theres a defect in them. You could try to take it to a shop. Me, I had to just buy another bar since i put the thing in a vice and wrentched on it too much.
