Found a new bike, only prob is the left clip on is broke. So how do i trailer her? buddy said to lay her down on something soft and just strap her in, but thats iffy.

Details:
An 08 R6 w/205miles. Only prob is shes been dropped pretty bad on the left side. The Left: clip-on, rear set, and fairings are broke/scratched. The rear seat is torn up and the tank has a small dent and rash on it. I estimated cost of repairs and cost of purchase and it equals out to about $7500 or less. Also comes with lock cable, cover w/alarm and lojack. Good Deal?

you mean either:

A) under the triple tree cover (like under the clip-ons, ignition slot, the clamps? basically the space between the fender and up to the tree cover)?

or

B) Inbetween the upper and fender?

I had to trailer my bike with no Clip-on. Used the frame on both sides behind the side fairings. Use soft hooks, wrapped around the frame. Its basically just a loop that the hook on the end of the tie down can be secured to. Good luck.
